The new Harry Potter game will reportedly be ready in 2021

The Harry Potter game we unofficially saw back in 2018 should be announced this summer and come out in 2021.

In the fall of 2018, a recording of an unnamed game about the magical world of Harry Potter leaked to the Internet. That game has never been officially confirmed, but it has been widely rumored that it will be a role-playing genre. Almost two years later, the Bloomberg portal reports that the unnamed game is still in development and is now planned for 2021.

Reportedly, it will be exclusive for next-generation consoles, and the PC version is not mentioned. It will be an open-air adventure exploring Hogwarts Castle and its surroundings. The game was supposed to be announced at the E3 fair this year, but as it was canceled, the announcement was postponed to the fall of this year.

By the way, there have been no brand new games in the world of Harry Potter for PC and consoles for almost nine years. The last was the 2011 LEGO Harry Potter. This was followed by two mobile games: Wizards Unite and Hogwarts Mystery.

CoD: Warzone has increased the player limit to 200, 22-36 gigabytes will be downloaded

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its accompanying Warzone mode are getting some new content today, including support for 200-player matches.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is in its fourth season, but as of today, that season will be called Season Four: Reloaded. So, it is no longer enough to know only the season number but also its subtitle. The most significant addition to this addition to the current season is the support for matches with 200 players in Warzone. The 200 matches will take place in quads format, which means that 50 teams will fight on the same map.

Warzone will also get a Juggernaut Royale mode in which one player can grab armor thrown from the sky and get a devastating mini-gun, and once he goes to the Gulag, other players get a second chance to grab the same armor.

As for Modern Warfare, their players will get a new map of Chesire Park, according to urban London featured in the single-player campaign. Team Defender mode will return, and the Rytec AMR sniper will enter the arsenal.

An update is already available, and as is already the case with Call of Duty, it’s not at all small. Modern Warfare owners will need to download 22-36 gigabytes, and those who only have Warzone should download 22-30 gigabytes, depending on the platform on which it is played.

A new Metal Slug game has been announced, for mobile phones

The Chinese megacorporation Tencent has intertwined its fingers in your arcade childhood - Metal Slug announced Code: J.

We are still waiting for the announcement of the new Metal Slug game that is being made for consoles, as we found out back in 2019, but in the meantime, we have received the announcement of the mobile Metal Slug. The SNK publishing house has entered into a partnership with the Tencent megacorporation, and the result is that Metal Slug Code: J will one day come to iOS and Android devices.

The game is developed by Tencent's TiMi Studios, which promises a faithful recreation of the old classic. It will bring back famous characters, heavy artillery, and classic arcade gameplay. It only remains to be seen where they will insert microtransactions into the whole story. Admittedly, the game doesn’t look bad at all - it still has a 2D performance with distinctive aesthetics and an insane amount of shooting.

Release date Metal Slug Code: J is not yet known.

Check out the new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 and find out what braindance mechanics is

CD Project RED is ready to show us the new materials of the long-awaited game Cyberpunk 2077. Follow with us the first Night City Wire.

In the first episode of Night City Wire, the CD Projekt RED team presented a new trailer for their Cyberpunk 2077. In the trailer, we saw some scenes that had been shown before, but there were also several scenes that we see for the first time, including driving. outside of Night City. We also briefly saw Adam Smasher, a robot giant with whom we will surely compete in one part of the game. But all that is shown in the trailer belongs to the prologue of the game - so this is just the beginning.

The CD Project RED also demonstrated mechanics called Braindance or BD. This is an interesting, though not entirely innovative system for solving puzzles in certain scenes. The idea is that the main character enters a person's memories and can experience them on an external level, for example hearing what the person could not hear, analyzing individual objects, and looking around with a free camera. This works as a detective mode with rewinding events, and as they say from the Project CD, Braindance Mechanics will always be used in the context of the story.

Nintendo will no longer run mobile games

According to claims from the Bloomberg portal, Nintendo plans to return the focus to games for consoles and will no longer run mobile applications.

In the last four years, Nintendo has set a precedent and delivered its franchises to players who do not own the company's console. Super Mario, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, and Mario Kart received their mobile editions. Some were very successful, and some quickly fell into oblivion, such as Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and the long-lost Miitomo.

This inconsistency in quality and performance seems to have led Nintendo executives to conclude that it would be wiser to focus on games that will boost Switch console sales. According to the Bloomberg portal, during the coronavirus pandemic, Nintendo recorded a great demand for Switch consoles, primarily due to two Switch exclusives: Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Ring Fit Adventure. Earnings from these games and console sales exceeded Nintendo’s mobile hits (not counting Pokemon GO), so the company decided to return the focus to console games.

Of course, this should not be taken immediately as if Nintendo * will never * make a game for mobile platforms again. It just means that such a thing is no longer in the plan for the near future. Who knows, maybe the successor to the Switch console is Nintendo’s first cell phone?

See what the guitar adventure of The Artful Escape will look like

The Artful Escape is an extremely atypical adventure of exploring fantasy worlds in the role of guitarist Francis Vendetti.

In video games, music is most often a component of the presentation, and less often the main driver of the action. Rare are games like Brutal Legend and Art’s Dream campaign in Dreams, where everything revolves around music. And one such rare game will be the upcoming The Artful Escape.

It’s a 2D adventure with platformer elements that follow the story of Francis Vendetti, a young guitarist from Colorado. We meet Francis just before his first live performance, in the city where the legendary guitarist Johnson Vendetti, who is Francis' uncle, comes from. The audience has high expectations of Francis, but he has not yet defined his artistic persona but her in search of a club that never appears in the same place.

In that quest, he goes through magical worlds, jumping and playing guitar while everything around him reacts in rhythm. Here's what it looks like:

EA Sports UFC 4 has been confirmed, the game’s unveiling follows in the seventh month

EA Sports ’new fighting game will be announced at UFC 251 early this month.

Electronic Arts had their digital presentation last week where they didn’t announce a new sequel to the UFC series so we thought there would be nothing from the same this year. However, when announcing the real UFC 251, which will take place on July 11, it was stated that EA Sports UFC 4 will also be discovered there.

According to previous rumors, unofficial but convincing, it will be a game for the current and future generation of consoles. Unfortunately, the PC platform is not mentioned again, just as it was not mentioned in the case of the previous three games.

Among the playful fighters could be boxers Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. While they’re not part of the UFC, it’s never been an obstacle to EA Sports ’fantasy before, so they put legendary Bruce Lee in UFC 3 who also had nothing to do with the UFC.

We learned new details of PS5 exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

After we talked about the length of the game and the presentation at the PlayStation big event last week, some more information related to Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales came out earlier this weekend.

The game’s director, Brian Horton, commented on some details that enhance the first Spider-Man game. This primarily refers to the snowy weather conditions, something that many fans of the game had hoped for, and which they are certainly looking forward to now. As for the story, Horton said it happens just before the holidays when war begins between a corporation and a high-tech criminal army. Miles is at home, in Harlem, which will be the center of this conflict and will bring with it various other characters and unexpected, emotional plots and unfoldings. The plot takes place a year after Marvel’s Spider-Man when we left Miles, who under the mentorship of Peter practiced his Spidey abilities, which are quite different from Peter's, from electric attacks to invisibility. How all this will affect the game, we'll see this holiday season, on the PlayStation 5.

Crash Bandicoot 4 got a release date well before the game was officially announced

The official announcement of the new game in the Crash Bandicoot series will take place on Monday. But we already know when the game comes out. It's coming to us this year.

Yesterday we learned that Activision is preparing a brand new game in the Crash Bandicoot series. It will be called Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and will take the title dachshund on a journey through different historical periods. We found out before the official announcement, and then a trailer leaked on 4chan, which revealed the release date of the game.

That date is October 9, 2020, which means that the new Crash is coming to us faster than anyone had hoped. For now, only versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are mentioned, but just as in the case of previous games, one day we may get versions for PC and Switch console.

According to what we can see from the pictures extracted from the trailer, the format of the game could be similar to the original trilogy, which means that linear levels are returning, and in addition to Crash, we will also play with his sister Coco. The official announcement of the game is planned for Monday, but Activision may move it because almost everything that could have been leaked was leaked.

The first Injustice is shared for free, fight with Batman and Superman

PC gamers can save 20 euros this weekend and get the Injustice: Gods Among Us sheet in its Ultimate edition for free.

You know what day it is, and we don’t write anything about free games? Don't worry - here's one. On PC and consoles, WB Games is currently giving away a sheet with comic book heroes and villains of the DC universe - Injustice: Gods Among Us. It is a game from 2013 that has already got a much better sequel, but here it is shared in the Ultimate Edition edition, which normally costs 20 euros, so the offer is not bad.

The game, of course, remains in your permanent possession, but you must add it to your collection no later than the 26th of this month. The offer is valid for the Steam version, the version for PlayStation 4, and the one for Xbox One.

FIFA 21 wants to make footballers more natural, coming out a little later than usual

EA Sports has announced a new edition of its FIFA series and for now, has only spoken about the experience of the matches and the presentation on the field.

The announcement of the next FIFA game this year is so modest that EA Sports decided to save, so it put Fifa 21 and Madden 21 in the same announcement video. We knew that concrete news about Fifa 21 would arrive only in August, but at least they could book their trailer… FIFA 21 comes out on October 9th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while PS5 and XSX versions will follow a bit later. Origin / EA Access subscribers will be able to play the game a good week in advance - 0d 1. 10.

The news is that the game will appear in the version for Steam, but also that by purchasing the PS4 / XBO version until the release of Fife 22 you will be entitled to a free copy of the game for PS5 / XSX.

As for the novelty for the gameplay, a good part of the same that is currently mentioned refers to the version for the PlayStation 5 (and PC, if you are going to buy a PS5 controller). For example, it is mentioned that with the DualSense controller we will feel different vibrations depending on the type of contact - that is, different for hitting the goal, different for the offense, and so on.

There is also a mention of something called "off-ball humanization", which is an additional set of animations with which footballers will act more naturally than before. For example, we will see footballers setting up skeletons, getting angry if you don't pass the ball to them when they are in a good position, and so on. The atmosphere of the stadium will also be "next-level", we will see the fans in front of the stadium, and then we will have a quick transition to the field.

The arrival of Apex Legends on the Nintendo Switch is forecast, a possible presentation today on EA Play

During a recent meeting with investors, Electronic Arts stated that they are seriously considering stronger support for the Nintendo Switch console. Such a statement can mean a lot and a variety of things, but today there was a forecast that, for example, Apex Legends could come to Nintendo's console.

Jeff Grubb, a Venture Beat journalist, has had quite an interesting and accurate speculation lately, and the last one is precisely his assumption that Apex Legends will come to the Nintendo Switch. Apex Legends has proven to be a good competition within the market for free to play games like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone, and switching to this platform would certainly be a good strategy to keep some of the popularity. Respawn recently stated that they would love to transfer their game to Switch. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but if there is any truth to this, we will find out today during EA Play.

Pokemon will make it easier for children to brush their teeth with the Pokemon Smile app

Nintendo wants Pokemon to be everywhere, even in the mouths of young children. As bizarre as it sounds, it’s the idea behind the Pokemon Smile app.

Pokemon is no longer just a game or just an anime. They can be eaten, cell phones can be charged, and I’m sure there’s an unofficial sex toy in the shape of a Lickitung. Nothing can surprise us anymore when it comes to Pokemon, but I didn’t hope that Nintendo would put Pokemon in the mouths of kids.

That’s the idea behind the Pokemon Smile mobile app - kids brushing their teeth in front of the camera save Pokemon in their mouths from tooth decay and bacteria. If they brush their teeth well enough, they can catch the Pokemon they released as a reward. In total, there will be 100 different Pokemon in the mouth of the game. The application will contain reminders when to brush your teeth and for how long. When brushing their teeth, children get a hat in the shape of a Pokemon.

Nintendo promises that it will not send pictures of underage children to the Rocket Team. The application is available for download on Android and iOS platforms, it is free and there are no microtransactions.

We got two new trailers for Wasteland 3

These days, we have been greeted by two new trailers for the post-apocalyptic tactical RPG Wasteland 3.

During the Future Games Show, the main man of inXile Entertainment, the legendary Brian Fargo, presented a new gameplay trailer, and we were greeted by the classic Wasteland 3, entirely dedicated to the factions that await us in snow-covered post-apocalyptic Colorado.

Unless there is a new delay, Wasteland 3 should appear on PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms on August 28th. Of course, it is worth emphasizing that all Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play it completely free of charge from the first day, and we will not rule out the possibility of seeing the game on next-gen consoles afterward.

You can get The Witcher 3 for free if you have already purchased it

The CD Project RED gives you its pride called The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but not for free. You can get it at GOG if you have it elsewhere.

The Witcher 3 will probably one day be free to download, but that day is not today - at least not completely. Namely, on GOG you can add The Witcher 3 to your collection for free, provided you already have that game on other platforms. And other platforms include the PC version for Steam, Epic Games, and console versions for PS4 or XBO.

So it’s not that you can get the game for free, but you can get the PC version for free if you have the game purchased (digitally) for consoles. And that's something. Unfortunately, if you have a GOTY version of the game (or purchased expansions), you will only get the basic version without expansions at GOG for free.

The offer is valid until June 23 at 11 a.m., and in order to take advantage of it, you must install GOG Galaxy 2.0 and connect it to the account you already have The Witcher 3 on.

Star Wars: Squadrons has been announced, it has a story, support for VR and cross-play

The new Star Wars game arrives in October, directed by Electronic Arts studio Motive, and will focus on pilot battles.

Star Wars: Squadrons have been officially announced and just as everything suggested before the announcement, it will be a Star Wars game focused on flying and space pilot battles. Players will be able to sit in cult aircraft such as X-wings and TIE fighters and fight others in a 5v5 multiplayer format. The game will be performed from a first-person perspective.

But it won’t just be a multiplayer title. There will also be a single-player campaign whose story takes place towards the end of the galactic war. We will visit some hitherto unseen locations such as Yavin Prime, we will have pre-battle briefings and we will upgrade our aircraft.

As for the multiplayer upgrade, this time EA says that everything will be transparent - everything in the game will be unlocked by playing and everything will be available from day one. In translation, there should be no microtransactions and affair like with Battlefront 2. But we’ll only see that on October 2nd when the game comes out.

By the way, EA is now going cross-play so players from all platforms will be able to play together or against each other. These include PS4, Xbox One, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Origin. Also, the game will have full virtual reality support on PC and PlayStation VR, and players with VR will also be able to participate in battles with all other players.

Quantum Error for PlayStation 5 looks like Dead Space in the first person

We got a brief overview of the Quantum Error shooter coming out for the PlayStation 5 and it looks pretty good for a lower budget game.

We wrote about the "cosmic horror" called Quantum Error about three months ago when the game was announced, and now we have a gameplay demonstration for the same game. This is just an announcement of a gameplay demonstration, but as such it has more gameplay than what Ubisoft thinks it can sell as a gameplay display.

As the game is in development for the PlayStation 5, it looks pretty solid, but first and foremost we’re glad we have one first-person shooter that’s not just about shooting. It can be seen from the trailer that a lot of effort has been invested in evoking a dark atmosphere. It may not have the aesthetics of a Scorn, but it should be acknowledged that some shots here promise. Not to mention empty, check out that trailer:

The creator of Day Z presented a new game - Icarus

From zombie survival to survival on an unknown planet, Icarus will be a new survival game whose trips to the planet will take 20 minutes or two days.

When it comes to kicking out games, Day Z creator Dean Hall can’t really boast of successfully completing the development of his projects. But for his new game Icarus which will be free to play format he says it will come out next year. This is another survival title in which we can choose tasks before heading to an unknown planet from the space station.

Namely, the game will be able to be played alone or in the company, and the mentioned space station will serve as a gathering place before the jump. Icarus thus puts us in the role of prospectors who must collect exotic resources and successfully leave the planet or everything that was done in that session or mission will be lost.

With the successful completion of the task, it will be possible to explore advanced technologies in order to open more difficult tasks, and their duration can be from 20 minutes to 48 hours. The planet itself will of course hide a bunch of dangers, and it will have to take classic care of food, water, and air. Construction, hunting, and other activities are also present as well as the possibility of using a vehicle. You can see more details about the game in the attached video.

The pilot game Star Wars Squadrons is coming

This year we may still get a new Star Wars title, but a little different than anyone had hoped.

Some may find Star Wars enough and too much, but Electronic Arts have the right to make games in that franchise so they don’t plan to stop with them so soon. We know DICE isn’t working on Battlefront 3 but on the next Battlefield, and the next Star Wars Jedi is still a long way off, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see a new Star Wars title soon.

The next game will be called Star Wars Squadrons and will focus on space battles with spacecraft. That’s all we know for now, and more information, along with the first trailer, we’ll get on Monday at 5 pm our time.

By the way, Star Wars video games in which the players were aircraft pilots were once very popular thanks to the X-Wing series. There were several such games during the 1990s, but with the advent of the 21st century, the action has mostly moved to the ground with only a few minor cases in which aircraft could be operated, most recently in Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Resident Evil 8 will scare us with werewolves and witches

Ethan and Chris Redfield are back in a new sequel to the popular Capcom series. The snow-covered village will be a new place of action in search of answers, and various obstacles will stand in the way, including werewolves.

At today's game show for the PlayStation 5, there was also the latest sequel to the Resident Evil series. Resident Evil 8, or Village, puts us in the shoes of Ethan Winters - the protagonist of the week. The time of the action is set a few years after the incidents in the house of the Baker family, and the place is a small village located somewhere in the middle of a forest and a mountain.

Fear and trembling are the main factors of the Village in which we return to first-person play. The unknown territory will keep the player awake, and he will have to watch out for every corner of the space where trouble awaits him. Werewolves will pose one of the biggest threats to the main protagonist, and Capcom promises that RE Village will have a better combat system and will focus more on research. Resident Evil Village arrives on the PlayStation 5 (and other platforms) in 2021.

Check out in the new trailer how much Mortal Shell is inspired by the Dark Souls series

Dying fans might take a look at the upcoming Mortal Shell whose trailer won’t reveal too much, but it could interest potential audiences with a visual and design display of the material.

Swinging swords, avoiding blows, and everything else that adorns soullike games, we will have the opportunity to experience in Mortal Shell, which we should play by the end of the year if everything goes according to plan. The horror game Nemesis: Distress has been announced for PC

Nemesis: Distress is a virtual adaptation of the popular boardgame title Nemesis, in development for the PC platform.

I have never played a horror-themed social game, but the internet tells me that a popular hit called Nemesis is among them. The same title will get its version in the form of a video game, and just like the original, it will be played in multiplayer with a special plot - one of the players is a traitor.

Nemesis: Distress takes place in a spaceship whose corridors are roamed by Intruders. Players choose between several classes with specific skills and are randomly selected a secret task that they must complete in order to win the match. The matches will last about 40 minutes and in most of them, there will be one player who has to sabotage the others.

This sabotage will not be able to be done directly, so open fire on other players as the friendly fire will be turned on, but setting traps and spreading false information are some of the tactics you can use to create chaos.

Nemesis: Distress is in development for the PC platform.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint from next month will have teammates in single-player

Ubisoft has announced that a 2.1.0 update for the hapless Ghost Recon Breakpoint will arrive in the seventh month, and with it what many players have been looking for the most.

The last time Ubisoft mentioned its Ghost Recon Breakpoint they talked about postponing the next big update. That was in the fourth month and that update was supposed to be ready by the sixth month. But the corona happened and everything slowed down, including the patching of Breakpoint. But the good news is that in the middle of July, the next breakpoint for Breakpoint will be ready if America does not self-destruct.

This is significant primarily because update 2.1.0 brings what the game lacked over the previous Wildlands. Namely, in the future, Breakpoint will be able to be played as a team and when you play single-player/offline, with computer-controlled comrades. This opens up tactical options in the game that was previously only available when playing with other players.

After this update, Ubisoft will deliver everything it promised to correct last year when the game was received quite negatively. In the meantime, some things have gotten better, it’s just a question of whether it’s too late for Breakpoint now.

The next Need for Speed game has been confirmed, again by the creators of BurnOut

Electronic Arts have informed fans about the future of the Need for Speed series and the future is in the community.

Need for Speed Heat from tomorrow will go down in history. Not because of its quality or record good sales, but it will be remembered as the first Electronic Arts game to support the option of cross-platform multiplayer or crossplay. This means that players will be able to play this game together in PC multiplayer on PC, PS4, and XBO platforms.

It is part of the future of Need for Speed, but also the latest update for Heat. On this occasion, it was announced that preparations have begun for the next game of the Need for Speed series and as we already knew, the Criterion Games team will work on it, which worked on Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted of a more recent date (from 2010 and 2012).

It can be guessed that this game will also target crossplay, and the developers say that they will listen to the fans and that they will take into account what they liked in the NFS Heat. By the way, from tomorrow, this game will be part of EA Access and Origin Access (Basic), which means that it will be possible to play it by subscription.

Leaked gameplay of the previously canceled version of Dead Island 2

Going through development hell, Dead Island 2 has changed more development teams so far than individual panties and socks, but it seems that in the end it finally managed to settle down with the not-so-famous Dambuster Studios. This development team has been working on the game for some time, which should be a cross-gen title for this and the next generation, although we won't be too surprised if it eventually becomes a next-gen title. But while we wait for any new information in the game, a gameplay demonstration of the previously canceled 2015 version has surfaced online.

Although it is not specified which version it is (yes, yes, there are several of them), we tend to believe that it is the one that YAGER worked on, and from what has been shown, we can freely say that it did not differ too much. from the original game and its Riptide spin-off. This means that once again it was an action that combined firearms and melee weapons, but also, it is clear that this is a working version, as it lacks a solid amount of "meat". See what it's all about below.

The director of The Last of Us Part 2 says: you haven’t seen the end of the game

The director of The Last of Us Part II said that the game was not spoiled and that players still do not know how it ends.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Neil Druckmann from Naughty Dog addressed the awkward questions about leaking sensitive parts of the story from that game before it came into the hands of players. Druckmann claims that the whole team was disappointed with this development, but that such things are not foreign to them because something similar happened with the first The Last of Us, and Uncharted 4 was also stolen before the release and the end of the game appeared on the Internet.

However, in the case of The Last of Us Part 2, this is not the case because Druckmann says the players have not yet seen the end of that game.

There are various theories about what happens in the end, but the finale has not been released to the public. You don’t know yet how it all ends.

Of course, that doesn’t mean the scenes that leaked to the internet aren’t part of the game. Yes, but the alleged end of the game that leaked isn’t the end of the game. And if Druckmann is to be believed, spoilers ultimately don’t even matter because the game isn’t experienced through some hints of a story from Reddit or 4chan.

Nothing compares to being in the role of Ellie in those moments - not just in cutscenes, but in gameplay and dialogue as the music leaves an emotional effect on you. And the story is constructed so that it’s not all in the twists and turns. There’s something in the tension you feel as the characters make their decisions.

Druckmann also commented on the criticism that the players received from the game for allegedly pushing various sexual minorities into the game. As he says, here too most things were misunderstood before people had a chance to play anything.

There are many wrong conclusions in the optics. We don’t want to correct them because that would be exactly the spoiling of the game. And as for the characters we put into our games, we try to have an honest style of storytelling. Ellie is as she is. We defined it in the previous game and we go further with that character.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 awaits us next week?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 should get a release date soon. The new season was supposed to start this week but was postponed due to protests in the US. After that postponement, there was no talk of a new date when the fourth season of Warzone will come out, but according to the latest information, it should happen soon.

And this time the main source of information is the delamination of the game, so it was found that Season 4 will be online on June 9th. This Tuesday, all fans should play the popular new CoD content, but this is information that is inside the game and which probably does not relate to the current situation in the US, due to which the release of these games was initially delayed. In translation, although the information is correct, it remains to be seen whether everything will go according to plan or will be postponed for a few more weeks. All we have left is speculation.

Bloodborne (remaster) reportedly arrives on PC and PlayStation 5

Several sources claim that the current PS4 exclusive Bloodborne will soon appear on new platforms - including Steam and PlayStation 5.

The Bloodborne action game has been the silent suffering of all players who don’t own a PlayStation 4 console for years. It can be played on a PC via the PlayStation Now service, but let's be realistic Bloodborne has never been a technically well-done game on a Sony console. Even on the PlayStation 4 Pro, the game didn’t officially spin above 30 frames per second. Many have therefore called for the game’s arrival on the PC platform and it seems the game is really on its way to Steam.

For now, these are still rumors, but it is increasingly heard that a remaster is being prepared with better textures, faster loads, and support for ultra-wide monitors. Now, it is mentioned that the game would also come to the PlayStation 5 console, it is just a question of what exactly that means. It is likely that the original Bloodborne will be able to play on the PS5 console, but whether the game will get any next-gen update for the PlayStation 5 is not yet known.

In case Bloodborne is sold as a separate remaster, it will be a kind of a slap in the face to PlayStation owners because they would try to trick the old game under the new one. In addition, such a thing would be a shame because the PS4 console unofficially managed to get a smooth 60 frames per second for Bloodborne, but the game developers never made it possible with an official update.

The new Steam Game Festival has also been postponed

There won’t even be a summer games festival on Steam next week as the world reflects on racial issues in the US.

It could be assumed that all relevant gaming events will be postponed due to protests and riots in the US including the Steam Game Festival in its summer edition. It was supposed to start next Tuesday, but it was postponed for a week and will now take place from June 16 to June 22.

The Steam Game Festival will otherwise bring players on the PC the opportunity to play demo versions of upcoming games. It has not yet been revealed which games will be able to be tried out during the event, for now, it has only been announced that one of them will be a survival game called Grounded prepared by the creators of The Outer Worlds.

This delay should not otherwise affect the date of the summer discounts on Steam. Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but it is rumored in the big village that prices on Steam will start falling on the 23rd or 26th of this month.

Riot Games started working on Deathmatch mode for Valorant

Riot Games has confirmed that they are already in the plans for the next game modes in Valorant and that they will respect the wishes of the players and include Deathmatch.

Competitive shooter Valorant was launched with a single game mode called Spike Rush in which two teams of five players alternately compete in placing and deactivating the bomb. Currently, that mode is in beta and will not be the only mode the game will have.

For now, it has not been decided whether it will be a mode in rotation, ie. whether it will stay in the game forever or will occasionally appear/disappear. In any case, the decision on that will be not only on the developers of Riot Games but also on the players themselves.

For now, they have noticed in Riot Games that players are mostly looking for the introduction of the classic Deathmatch mode. They, therefore, promised to honor those wishes, so they set out to develop the technology needed to perform Deathmatch-like mods. Of course, this is not the only mode they have in the plan, but they have multiple modes in the prototype phase that should come to life later.
