The new Steam Game Festival has also been postponed

There won’t even be a summer games festival on Steam next week as the world reflects on racial issues in the US.

It could be assumed that all relevant gaming events will be postponed due to protests and riots in the US including the Steam Game Festival in its summer edition. It was supposed to start next Tuesday, but it was postponed for a week and will now take place from June 16 to June 22.

The Steam Game Festival will otherwise bring players on the PC the opportunity to play demo versions of upcoming games. It has not yet been revealed which games will be able to be tried out during the event, for now, it has only been announced that one of them will be a survival game called Grounded prepared by the creators of The Outer Worlds.

This delay should not otherwise affect the date of the summer discounts on Steam. Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but it is rumored in the big village that prices on Steam will start falling on the 23rd or 26th of this month.
