But Man’s Sky becomes a horror adventure with the expansion of Desolation

The No Man’s Skyspace adventure in the latest update called Desolation allows players to explore seemingly abandoned ships in space.

But Man’s Sky expands its possibilities year after year and becomes one content game. This year the mechs became part of the gameplay and before them the living ships. With update 2.6, we get the opportunity to explore the interiors of other spaceships. These interiors are procedurally generated, contain opportunities to gather resources, but also certain dangers.

Namely, new types of alien opponents will be able to meet on some ships. The whole atmosphere of dark and abandoned ships wandering by unknown creatures pulls towards horror, but don’t expect No Man’s Sky to deliberately scare you. Each ship will have its own unique story, and in discovering the same players will be able to embark on improved shooting skirmishes.

An extension called Desolation is available on all platforms and free for all game owners.
